Welcome Travel Writers
If you have traveled,
and written about it,
you are a travel writer.
Go Hither Traveling Tales offers free, online space to
display your stories in an attractive and user friendly way.
We hope that you take advantage of this opportunity to
share your work with others and build your own writing
portfolio.
Writing Style
Your style is the right style. We do not wish to censor or
edit your work. What we're asking for is your best.
We will look over each story for spelling, basic grammar
and punctuation before posting. You may also request
additional editorial assistance, but that's up to you.
Content
Write about where you went, what you learned, what you did,
said, felt...anything. Each person sees their environment
through a unique lense. Just tell us a little about what
you saw.
Photography
Photography often goes hand-in-hand with travel writing,
and many of you have amazing photos which speak thousands
of words to your experience. We encourage you to submit
photos along with your stories to appear on your story
pages. Additionally, we would love to use your photos on
index pages, and will credit your work accordingly.
Photo sizes may have to be adjusted for swift
download and attractive display.
What's in it for us?
We get to read your stories (which we love to do), and
play with web technology, constantly improving the site to
make it more user friendly, attractive and scaleable.
Who are we, anyway?
Dave and
Melissa Broudy.
Melissa
conceptualized the site and handles its design, content and
promotion. Dave, owner and operator of
BroudyNET, hosts Go Hither
and is responsible for the nifty programs that make it run.
